Foothill Presbyterian Hospital

For more than 35 years Foothill Presbyterian Hospital (“Foothill”) has sought to provide excellence in medical care to the residents of the northern corridor of the East San Gabriel Valley.

Our 105-bed primary care hospital has accomplished this objective through a full range of primary inpatient and outpatient services including basic medical-surgical services, diabetes care, emergency services, and obstetrics. Foothill’s service area encompasses the geographic area that borders the San Gabriel foothills to the north, the City of La Verne to the east, the City of Covina to the South and the City of Azusa to the west. The hospital’s service area is home to approximately 260,000 residents.

In order to meet the continuing needs of our community and provide state-of-art care, we plan to reconfigure the vacated old ER space and utilize it as the Outpatient Surgery Unit (OPSU) which will allow us to make better use of the inpatient beds that OPSU currently utilizes, as well will enhance patient flow to the operating suite.
