Thanks to our community for supporting development of The Arthur & Sarah Ludwick Emergency Care Pavilion
During 2002-2007, more than 1,000 donors responded to support this major step to meet our community's rising demands for emergency care. Thanks to cooperation and generosity, The Foothill Foundation and Foothill Presbyterian Hospital meet the need for raising over $24 million for this project, including over $10 million from citrus Valley Health Partners and $13.4 million in local community support and several Southern California grantmakers.
The FPH Emergency Department sees around 25,000 patients annually and is now located in state-of-the art, expanded facilities at the corner of Grand and Ada Avenues. This vital addition was the first major expansion of FPH since the hospital opened in 1973.
And the Arthur & Sarah Ludwick Emergency Care Pavilion is planned around a philosophy of patient-centered care that, among other benefits, includes décor and directional signage that is more user-friendly for patients and visitors. The new department has technology and flexibility to improve patient satisfaction and privacy. From our patients' perspective, the new pavilion is spacious, efficient, safe, and comfortable.
